The Orchestration
of The Celebration Hymnal™

All of the nearly 700 songs are fully orchestrated with creatively conceived accompaniment rather than simply an instrumental version of vocal parts.

Created by church orchestra specialists, the orchestrations for The Celebration Hymnal™ are accessible to a broad range of players, and are designed to work well with keyboards and a large or small number of players. The instrumental books include the text of each song, allowing orchestra members to participate in singing with the congregation when they are not playing.

Camp Kirkland, Instrumental Editor for The Celebration Hymnal™, has been a major force in the development of instrumental music in the church over the last two decades, and is considered one of the foremost arrangers and orchestrators of our day. He has served as consultant and orchestrator on three previous hymnal projects. For two years, he and a team of twenty orchestrators have invested themselves in perfecting the orchestrations created for The Celebration Hymnal™.

The Conductor Score and each part book is available separately. Orchestral parts on 8.5" x 11" pages are pre-punched, and come shrink-wrapped with no binding. Each part book is completely typeset. The Conductor Score is on pages 14" x 8.5" sized pages in a hardcover 3-ring binder.

NEW! The Accompaniment Rhythm/Guitar editions (STD & KJV) are loose leaf and three-hole punched with a binder for its 8.5" x 11" sized pages. The loose leaf pages allow you to reorganize your songs to match service order, saving time and effort during worship for your accompanist. In addition, for rhythm players, the pages can lay flat across one or more music stands to avoid page turns. Chord symbols appear above the music and measure numbers appear below. The notes and texts are printed 10% larger than the pew edition.
